Pizza Picnics
and Splash Pads
This
weekend we wanted to do something fun and out of doors. Ryan came up with the idea to take Nik to a
splash pad. He also discovered a coupon
for a pizza place (gotta love those coupons right? I know Ryan does.). My idea was to go shopping. (Surprised? Probably
not. Haha.) We combined our ideas and decided to do it
all. Shopping turned out to be pretty
fun, but Ryan couldn’t wait to be done with it.
We then went to get pizza and found a little park in downtown Aurora
with a splash pad. We set out our
picnic, and it was great. It was fun, and relaxing and so nice to spend time as
a family and be out side. Nik had a
blast, and was the only white kid to be seen.
Ian enjoyed laying on the blanket and being entertained by us all while
eating his chubby little hand. We took
some fun pictures while there and later, while editing them, I was just amazed
at how blessed I am. I have such a
wonderful little family, a wonderful husband and 2 adorable and lovable little
boys, all of which I couldn’t love any more than I already do.
