Ian At
4 Months
Ian
is a true joy. Honestly he is all sweet
smiles and melt your heart doe-eyed looks.
All I have to do is look at Ian and whatever worry or problem or sadness
just diminishes or rapidly fades away.
He is just that wonderful.
Here
is what he is up to these days :
· He loves playing on the
ground surrounded in toys. He loves to
turn on his sides and grab at everything while still desperately trying to
devour his perfect chubby little hands.
· He loves to be held more
these days, but tends to make it difficult by remaining at straight as
possible, therefore allowing the person holding him to do nothing but devote
all of their time and attention on him. (Clever little guy)
· Ian also refuses to look
at the person holding him. For whatever
reason, he will look at everyone else, but no matter what you say or do he wont
look at you. Weird and frustration at
the same time. Oh well.
· Ian is acclimating to his
crib these days. I still haven’t
switched him from our room to the boy’s room yet. He would probably be just fine with it, but it’s
me that is having a hard time letting go.
· Ian is certainly finding his
voice, and it is so much fun! He
screeches and chirps all day long now, and you can tell he thinks its pretty
great.
· It’s quite amazing, but
Ian’s toots are so loud that they sound like a full on adults toot. It’s both funny and alarming.
· Ian loves, loves, loves
his tubs! He has discovered how to
splash, and when he discovers that he is in the water, immediately begins
splashing and doesn’t stop till the water is all gone.
· Ian is also starting to
smile more and more. I love it! We are working on getting him to laugh
more. Every time we try to get him to
laugh, you can tell he wants to laugh, but its as if he is also purposely
trying to hold his laugh in and stop it.
· Ian is the funniest
little eater. He eats every 2 hours
still, although it’s starting to be a little longer between feedings these past
few days. He loves to eat, and when he
does, he starts moving his arm like he is swimming. He does this the whole time he is eating and
its really quite funny. I am not sure
why he does it, perhaps he thinks it will help him out while he eats, who
knows.
· Ian watches his big
brother like a hawk. He loves to just
sit and watch Nik, no matter what he is doing.
