Happy   Half   Birthday   Ian!

Ø Ian is now a pro at sitting up.  Sometimes I feel like pushing him back down, to keep him little.

Ø To my delight, he is getting a little more curious about the person holding him.  Up until now Ian wouldn’t even look at the person holding him, not one glance!  But recently he has been taking some quick looks at the person holding him.  Thanks Ian for acknowledging me.

Ø Ian loves to play with his binky.  He likes to take it out of his mouth and chew on it and try to put it back in on his own.  Although when he gets tired, he acts so offended when his binky is out of his mouth, not realizing that he was the one who took it out.  Silly boy.

Ø Ian has discovered his tongue the last little while.  He likes to stick it out and blow raspberries.

Ø It’s been pretty funny to see Ian’s temper come out.  We have definitely discovered that he has a temper.  Oh goodness.

Ø Another funny thing about Ian is he loves the booger sucker.  He thinks its so funny, almost to the point of laughing when you suction his boogies.  Funny kid.

Ø Of course, Ian has nothing but smiles for his big brother Nik.  He watches Nik like a hawk.

Ø Ian has discovered his feet, especially his toes.  Let the toe sucking begin!

Funny story:

One day I was playing with Ian’s feet and giving them kisses, when Nik walks in and says, “mom!  That’s gross!”  I told him that it’s not gross, because babies feet are clean and super cute.  To which he replied, “Then can I lick them?” ….hm….I guess?

Ø Ian wants to eat everything these days.

Ø When Ian smiles, he scrunches up his face, and it is the cutest thing.

Ø Ian loves to say “da” and to screech.

Oh, as a funny side note, Nik has decided that the reason Daniel didn’t get eaten by the lions in the pit, was because God ordered the lions pizza.  Duh!
