Ian at
5 months
Ø It’s all about sitting,
at least for Ian it is. He absolutely
loves it and you can just see it in his face how cool he thinks he is. He trys so hard to do it on his own. It wont be long till he accomplishes it.
Ø Ian rolled over for the
first time. He’s still not completely sure
about it. I don’t think he realizes what
it really means for him.
Ø Ian is starting to laugh
a bit more. Gosh that kid is stingy
about his laughs.
Ø I am pretty sure I
shouldn’t leave Nik and Ian alone together.
Nik loves Ian. He loves to get in
his face and give him loves and his attention.
We have explained to him that he is not allowed to hold Ian unless an
adult helps him. I thought he
understood, but apparently he didn’t, or perhaps he had selective amnesia.
Ian was playing on the floor and I needed to go to the
bathroom. I told Nik I would be right
back. A minute later I come back to Nik
trying to pick Ian up of the ground. He sees
me and immediately just drops Ian (drops the part that he had managed to lift,
which just happened to be Ians upper half).
Ian screams and Nik bolts.
Then later that day we were playing on the bed together and
Nik jumps over to Ian and I, and nails Ian in the head with his knee. Then somehow miraculously manages to repeat
this yet later in the day.
Poor Ian! That was a
rough day.
Ø Ian loves to stand. He needs a lot of help to do it, but you can
tell it feels good on his muscles and bones in his legs. I hope to find an exersaucer to help him
soon.
Ø Toys have become really
fun to Ian. He loves to get his hands on
them, and eat as many of them as he can.
