Nik
and I took Ian for his 4-month-old check up, only a whole month later. Ian did really great. He weighed in at 16 pounds 11 ounces (50%),
and measured at 27 inches (80%). When it
was time for Ian to get his shots, Nik decided that he wanted to get a shot too
and show Ian what it was to be “brave”.
So Nik received his flu shot. He
actually did really great and only flinched a little and said “ow!” Afterwards, Nik told me, “mom, shots hurt, I’m
not doing that again!” I guess I will
wait awhile before telling him that his yearly check up is coming up.
